My name is Eddie. Welcome to Dash For Him.

When my son had a massive brain bleed in 2013, I gained a new perspective on life... a new perspective on what life means; a new perspective on what is essential.

A message I heard in church soon after the accident changed everything for me.

"What does your dash look like when you leave this Earth?"

When it's all said and done, and your body is buried in the ground, your tombstone will have two dates on it: the date of your birth and the date of your death.

What matters most is the dash between the year you were born and when you leave this Earth. 

Live life with a PURPOSE

I decided to positively impact this world: to give back, to help, to inspire.

Since the time the idea popped into my brain, Dash for Him products were meticulously crafted and tested over three years before going to market. Our products are trusted by thousands of barber professionals around the country and worldwide.

Fast forward to October 2019, and Dash For Him was officially launched, and with it, our dreams to make a measurable difference had begun.

Dash For Him has a two-part mission. The company's first and No. 1 goal is to give money back to nonprofit organizations locally and globally based on food, water, clothing, shelter, and care.

There are five red dots on the front of every Dash For Him hair care product. Each of those red dots represents one of those necessities. Every time you purchase a Dash For Him product, you are reminded that you help nonprofits in one of those five sectors.

The second mission of the company is education for all people about the hair care industry.

Whether we connect and partner with nonprofits in our own backyard or halfway worldwide, we want to visit and communicate with those companies and document how we are making a difference in people's lives near and far.

Whether that means flying to the heart of Africa or walking up the street and around the corner, we want to show that we are making a difference in many lives.

Our branding has a purpose, is sleek, and looks good. The year 1979 is on the bottle, the year I began my journey on this Earth. The dash is open-ended, reminding me that I have a lot more to give before my time is up.

Our logo has the letter "D" bisected with a dash, encapsulating our mission and brand.

We are a brand on a mission, but that doesn't take away from our products' beauty and effectiveness. 

Our Dash For Him line includes beard care, hair care, apparel, and essential home products that give your grooming a boost in the right direction.

Our beard oil is infused with organic argan oil, coconut oil, vitamin E, and essential oils that moisturizes facial hair and the skin beneath. It absorbs quickly and leaves a lightweight, non-greasy feel. Best of all? It's all made right here in the United States of America.

Our exfoliating beard wash cleans without stripping natural and essential oils from your face. It removes build-up and adds moisture, and is vegan and paraben-free. Score them separately or get the beard care combo.

Our haircare products are also made in the United States of America and give people a specialized and mission-driven alternative to everyday products found in the supermarket. Our Matte Clay was featured in a recent edition of GQ and is infused with essential oils and texturizes hair with a stronghold to accomplish a matte look. It's perfect for all hair types and people of all ages, young or old, and is vegan and paraben-free.

We also offer scented candles with our unique fragrance and tee-shirts to support our mission-driven brand.

With the emergence of the worldwide pandemic caused by COVID-19, we live in an age where more things are uncertain than ever before. These are unprecedented times, and people around our city, our state, our country, and the world are scared. People are afraid of the unknown.

Dash For Him was able to launch quickly before the pandemic started and has been able to help out people in need during the COVID-19 pandemic. Barbers around our neighborhood and country had to shut down because of the restrictions levied throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

That's why we created a program called Dash For Him COVID-19 Relief, where we signed up many unemployed hairstylists and barbers around the country and started a unique checkout code. They provided the code to family and friends and gave back 40 percent of all profits to those people in the hair care industry who were in need.

It's just one of the ways that Dash For Him gives back, both locally and globally.

What does your dash look like?

I believe that when you are lying on your deathbed, it's not going to be about how much money you had or how much power you had. The only thing that matters is the impact you had on other people and what you did to give back to the world.
